Learn to swing with your golf club
The golfers generally make a mistake when they hold the golf club loosely in their fingers but make their arms stiff. Due to this, the golfer loose control on his club and as a result is unable to play a good swing.
If you want to play a good swing, the club should be held tightly in your fingers. Suppose you are trying to pick up a cup of coffee with your loose fingers and stiff arms. What will happen? May be you drop the cup down. The same may be the case with a golf club.
Once you understood how to hold the club, the next thing is to learn is the proper pull. If you pull too swiftly or from your elbow or shoulder, there will be a lot of tension in your arm and upper part of your body. You should go for a smooth swing with a firm control of your fingers on the golf club. In this manner, you will attain a streamline motion and will set the ball to roll down to its destination. This also helps to bounce off the club correctly.

There are several ways to swing a golf club. The most prominent one is the modern swing, also called the lower body swing or total body swing.
