Double J Getaway III - September 5-7...Okanagan!

OK!  One last crack at some great BC Golf...this time we go back into the Okanagan.

First off, we get an encore from Talking Rock on Friday...the course on the Shuswap is waiting for us and Trevor Smith, GM of the 'ROCK', is telling us the course is in better shape than when we played it in May!  Once we play at Talking Rock, we will drive a little over an hour to the Village Green Hotel and Casino, where I have stayed many times.  The hotel will be our home base and has many restaurants in and around, plus of course, the casino.

Saturday, we jump back on the bus for a 15 minute ride to THE RISE.  Fred Couples' signature course in Vernon overlooks both Okanagan and Kalamalka Lakes.  One of BC';s best new courses, and we get to play it! 

Sunday, we will check out and zip down to Kelowna to check out the other brand new Okanagan course that is getting a tonne of attention, the Golf Club at Tower Ranch.  Jay had a chance to play in late July and he must have like it, because he kept texting me every second hole...thanks buddy!  We get in another fantastic round of golf, grab a nice bite to eat at the Club, then head home after three great days of golf and great times!

A great friend of mine, Kenley Tamoto, is using this trip as his annual trip to take clients on a corporate golf weekend.  Kenley was gracious enough to allow us to invite everyone to fill up the bus and make this trip a beauty.  SO FAR...we have sold 42 spots, and we have four tentative, which gives us 46...we are FULL at 56 players.  We promise to have lots of prizes, lots of KP and LD action and all kinds of great games to help make this the perfect capper to the summer.  Our first two trips were great, this one will be AWESOME!

$650 includes all taxes, green fees, power carts, hotel (double occupancy), round trip bus transport and all the fun we can squeeze into the weekend. We soft launched this trip last weekend to the public...we are going to sell it hard after this Friday as we want to sell it out and raise money for Variety club, BC Children's Hospital and Autism Awareness...we are inviting you first because you have been on the trips before and we know that a good time is had with a great group of people...and you are all great to have along...even the PORKCHOP!

PORKCHOP is planning not to come, but knowing the abuse that he will take by not being on this trip will encourage him to go.  His email is above...oh here it is too.   alau@royalcityrecord.com  ...we also would love to see the ladies again and of course Owen, you are always welcome...
